Weekender

die ganze Woche habe ich auf mein bestelltes Gurtband gewartet.... es ist immer noch nicht da. Also kurzer Hand zum nächsten Stoffladen, fünf Minuten vor Ladenschluss doch noch welches gekauft. Angefangen habe ich den Weekender von Farbenmix schon letztes Wochenende, nur fertig nähen ging ohne Griffe ja schlecht. ^^

the whole week I've been waiting for my ordered strap.... it is still not there. So quick to the next fabric store, five minutes before closing, to bought some. I started the Weekender by Farbenmix already last weekend, just finished sewing without handles ist not a good idea. ^^

Eulendecke / Owlblanket

Jetzt kann ich sie euch endlich zeigen. :) Die Eule ist heute in ihr endgültiges Zuhause gezogen und die neue Besitzerin hat sich riesig gefreut.

Now I can finally show it. :) The owl is now moved in their final home and the new owner was so excited.

Travelbag

Die Idee fand ich zu schön und musste einfach eine für unseren bevorstehen Urlaub nähen. Ein kleines Etui für unsere Pässe, Flugticket usw. So hat man alles zusammen und muss nicht erst am Flugschalter umständlich suchen. Längst nicht so perfekt wie die von Elisabeth, aber für die erste bin ich ganz zufrieden. Liebe Elisabeth, vielen Dank das ich die tolle Idee nachmachen durfte. :)

I liked the idea so much, I just had to sew one for our vacation. A small case for our passports, flight tickets, etc. So we have everything together and don't have to seek at the airport. Not as perfect as that of Elisabeth, but for now, I am quite satisfied. Dear Elisabeth, thank you that I could imitate the great idea. :)

Pixi Buchhülle / Pixi Book Cover

Eine kleine Massenproduktion. 3 normale Hüllen nach einer Anleitung von Nalev und 3 modifizierte für genauso Bücher die etwas größer sind, die meistens Schulanfänger haben. Jetzt muss ich aber dringend mal was für den Urlaub nähen. ;)

A small scale production. 3 normal cover from the tutorial of Nalev and 3 modified for the same books that are slightly larger, which kids usually have already starting school.

But now I have to sewing something urgent for my vacation. ;)

Sommerkleid / Summerdress

Nicht das ihr glaubt ich hätte die letzten Wochen nichts genäht, aber ich kann es euch nur noch nicht zeigen. Es ist ein Geschenk für jemand die hier mit liest. ;)

Aber gestern habe ich dann doch mal wieder was anderes gemacht und versuche hiermit auch den Frühling zu locken. Entstanden ist eine Tini, warum habe ich den Schnitt so lange unbenutzt im Schrank gehabt? Das Kleid finde ich total süß und meine Tochter will es gar nicht mehr ausziehen. :) Noch etwas groß, aber ich nähe lieber auf Zuwachs, bis zum Sommer ist es ja noch eine Weile hin.

Do you really think I didn't sew anything the last few weeks? ;) But I can't show it to you yet. It is a gift for someone who reads here too. ;)

But yesterday then I have done something else and try also to lure the spring. The result is a Tini, why I had the pattern so long unused in my wardrobe? I find the dress totally cute and my daughter will not take it off even more. :)

A bit large, but I prefer to sew with growth, until the summer it still takes a while.

Tips for Shopping ?

Unsere Urlaubsplanung steht auch schon. :) Flug ist gebucht, Unterkunft haben wir auch.... aber ich wollte euch mal fragen was man als Näherin in den Staaten unbedingt kaufen sollte? Außer Stoffen natürlich. ;) Über Tipp würde ich mich sehr freuen. Lieben Dank schon mal.

Our vacation planning is already done. :) Flight is booked, we have (an excellent) accommodation.... but I wanted to ask you what should I necessarily buy in the United States for sewing? Except of course fabrics. ;) Has anyone any tips? Thank you.

Zu gewagt / too saucy ?

Zu gewagt? Da suche ich Stoff aus und bin erst begeistert um mitten im nähen zu denken zu gewagt? Vielleicht doch zu bunt für mich? Was meint ihr? Außerdem ist Viskosejersey keine gute Idee für die erste Antonella. Eine ziemliche Fummelei mit den Bindebändern ;o)

Too saucy? First I am looking for fabric and I'm excited, while sewing I think too saucy? Perhaps too colorful for me? What do you think? Moreover Rayonjersey is not a good idea for the first Antonella.
